The challenge
A travel sale is not a discount. It is a place you can picture yourself, and a price that makes you stop scrolling.
Wakanow needed promo creative for a summer sale that would carry across Meta and YouTube — two placements with different rules about what holds attention. The offering had to read in the first second, on a muted autoplay, on a phone.
What we did
- Led with the destination, not the discountThe thing that stops a scroll is somewhere you would rather be. The price does its work second, once you already want to go.
- Cut for muted autoplayDesigned so the offer reads without sound, because that is how the overwhelming majority of the audience would see it.
- Built per placement, not one masterMeta and YouTube reward different pacing and different aspect ratios. The creative was produced to suit each rather than letterboxed across both.
The outcome
The videos drew strong feedback from both Wakanow and their audience, and lifted engagement and interest in the travel offers they were built to sell. We have not published campaign figures here because the reporting sits with the client — when they release numbers, they will go in this section rather than an estimate standing in for them.
